VetAvailability Inc. (“VetAvailability”, “we”, “us” or “our”) considers the protection of the personal information of each user to be an important aspect of high level service. To this end, in this Privacy Policy we have set out the information principles that VetAvailability follows when we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process your personal information. “Personal Information” is information that can be used to identify or is reasonably capable of being associated with an individual. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected when you interact with VetAvailability’s website and mobile application(s) (collectively, the “Platform”) or when you engage with us in other ways, including by email, phone, mail, or in person. We may use third-party service providers to perform certain services on our behalf, and may disclose Personal Information to such service providers as needed for them to perform these services. Such services may include, but are not limited to, hosting services, document management services, communications services, software and website development services, accounting and audit services, compliance services, quality control services, and analytics services. All third-party service providers that we disclose your Personal Information to are prohibited from using your Personal Information except to provide their respective services, and are required to process your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We will make available upon request all Personal Information we have on file about you and, where appropriate, we will correct or amend such information upon request. If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information about our practices related to the disclosure of your Personal Information to certain third parties for their direct marketing purposes. You may be able to opt-out of our sharing of your personal information with unaffiliated third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes in certain circumstances. Our Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 on the Platform. If we discover that we inadvertently collected information from a child under the age of 13 through the Platform, we will promptly delete it.
Your Personal Information is stored on servers of our third-party service provider located in Canada.
We will retain and use your information for as long as it is required and for the purposes of which it was collected, including as required to: (i) provide services to you; (ii) maintain a record of your membership; (iii) comply with our legal or contractual obligations; or (iv) resolve complaints and disputes. Personal Information that is no longer required will be securely destroyed or erased.
We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide you notice of amendments to these Terms by amending the “Last Modified” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Platform confirms your acceptance of this Privacy Policy, as amended. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, as amended, you must stop using the Platform. Therefore, we recommend that you review this Privacy Policy periodically.
You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your Personal Information at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. To do this, you may contact our Privacy Officer as set forth at the end of this Privacy Policy. Please note that if you withdraw consent you may not be able to continue using the Platform or certain features of it.
VetAvailability uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to provide security for your Personal Information. VetAvailability uses SSL to make sure that your Personal Information is appropriately encrypted, secured and protected.
